I met Elizabeth at the weekly Breastfeeding Support group she hosts at Empower Wellness. Her knowledge, encouragement and passion lead to me scheduling a home visit, during which she gave great tips and excellent advice. Breastfeeding is hard and you don’t have to do it alone, call her to help so you don’t Stop prematurely.

Desde la llegada de mi niña tuve la atención personalizada de Eli. Aún en la distancia, pues vivo en Puerto Rico, recibí la compañía, el cuidado y orientación necesario para un post parto tranquilo. Mi esposo también recibió consejos y apoyo personalizados; para estar junto a mi mientras lográbamos la lactancia materna exclusiva. En la mitad del proceso logramos coincidir personalmente y así constatar que la lactancia materna exclusiva; guiada por personas bien preparadas es posible y ES LO MEJOR PARA LA MADRE Y EL BEBÉ. Todavía hoy, 20 meses después seguimos recibiendo información y cuidados valiosos en nuestra lactancia.

Breastfeeding is really difficult, but Ms. Santos makes you feel like you are taken care of. She has dropped what she was doing to help me when I needed help, even late at night! She empowers you to feel as if you are not alone. I am terrible at keeping up with people but she regularly checks in to see how things are coming along. She truly cares about you, you baby, and your breastfeeding journey.

La historia de como conoci a Elizabeth es larga, pero lo que deben saber es que sin ella no hubiera logrado lactar a mi niña. En medio de la pandemia me dijo si, cuando estaba perdida y nadie me ayudaba. Carismatica, empatica, Profesional. Estaré siempre agradecida.

When we needed help with lactation stuff, we contacted Elizabeth at Materna and she was there promptly. She stayed with us for hours (until 2am) until all questions were answered, frustrations were alleviated, and baby was full and satisfied. She even provided extra tips, alternative methods, and follow up care. Changed the breastfeeding and latch relationship from pain to a happy fat baby! We are so grateful for her! Elizabeth is knowledgeable, gifted, discreet and professional with sensitive subjects, and bilingual Spanish and a English. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

As an occupational therapist and certified breastfeeding specialist, I have been able to collaborate with Elizabeth on a few clients. It has been great getting to work closely with her and witness her enthusiasm and compassion for lactation care. She has been a wonderful mentor and friend. It’s been amazing to see our client’s breastfeeding journeys flourish through collaborative care. She’s also created a community of mothers through her breastfeeding support group! Elizabeth was my ‘first responder’ when the hospital failed to properly orientate me in the lactation process and the hospital actually did more harm than good. Elizabeth came to my hospital room and became available to me for consultations. She is so savvy and loving at the same time. Will be forever grateful.
