My Journey
As a proud mom of two beautiful boys, Eliel and Líam, and a native of Puerto Rico, my journey into motherhood was both challenging and rewarding. Moving to Corpus Christi in November 2020 with my military husband, I faced many hurdles, especially with breastfeeding my firstborn. These experiences ignited a desire in me to gain formal education in pregnancy, birth, and lactation to help other mothers overcome similar challenges.
My Expertise
Since 2010, I have dedicated myself to learning and growing in the field of maternal and infant health. I began as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor for the WIC Program and have since earned certifications as a Lactation Educator, Childbirth Educator, Certified Military Lactation Counselor (MiLC), International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and Birth Doula. My goal has always been to serve my community better and support Spanish-speaking families in their native language.
I Am Committed To Contributing To Healthy And Safe Birth Experiences For Moms, Babies, And Families. My Goal Is To Improve Breastfeeding Rates For Mother-Infant Dyads And Support My Community By Enhancing Education, Providing Resources, Connecting Providers, And Creating Learning Spaces For Families To Feel Empowered Through Education.
